Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
- Device ID — A randomly generated anonymous ID created on your device. Never linked to your name, email, or personal identity.
- Username — An optional display name you choose in Settings. Visible to other users on sighting posts.
- Zip Code — Only the zip code you manually enter when submitting a sighting. We do not collect GPS or precise location data.
- FCM Token — A Firebase Cloud Messaging token used to deliver push notifications to your device.
- Alert Preferences — The products and retailers you choose to receive alerts for.
- Sighting Posts — Content you voluntarily submit including retailer, zip code, and optional notes.
- Vote Activity — Your votes on community sightings (👍 Got It, 👎 Missed It, ❌ Gone).
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- Precise GPS or real-time location data
- Payment or financial information
- Browsing history outside the app
How We Use Your Information
- To send push notifications when products you follow go in stock
- To display community sightings near zip codes you search
- To maintain community quality through content moderation
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
Data Retention
- Sighting posts expire automatically after 7 days
- Sightings with 10+ "Gone" votes are removed automatically
- Reported and removed sightings are deleted from our servers
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google) — Push notifications and device registration
- RevenueCat — Subscription management (no payment data stored by us)
- Railway — Backend hosting
- Anthropic Claude — AI-powered content moderation for reported sightings

Sightings Tab
The Sightings tab lets collectors report TCG product availability at retail stores. To keep it useful and respectful:
Allowed
- Genuine in-store or online sightings
- Sharing zip code location
- Helpful notes like aisle, quantity, or store name
- Voting to confirm or deny sightings
Not Allowed
- Fake, misleading, or spam sightings
- Inappropriate language or harassment
- Links, URLs, or website addresses
- Personal information about others
- Off-topic content
- Bypassing the profanity filter
Username Policy
Usernames are visible to all users and must:
- Be 3–20 characters long
- Contain only letters, numbers, and underscores
- Not contain profanity, slurs, or offensive language
- Not impersonate other users or brands
Reporting
Tap the ⚑ Report button on any sighting that violates these guidelines. Reports are reviewed by our AI moderation system. Submitting false or malicious reports may result in your own account suspension.
Enforcement
1
1st Violation — 3-Day Suspension
The offending post is removed and you are suspended from posting for 3 days.
2
2nd Violation — 3-Day Suspension
A second violation results in another 3-day suspension. Consider this your final warning.
3
3rd Violation — Permanent Suspension
Three violations result in a permanent ban from posting sightings. No exceptions.
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates these guidelines at our sole discretion.
